This 3-day in-person course equips healthcare professionals with essential skills and strategies to prevent and manage incidents of violence and aggression within healthcare settings. Participants will learn to:
Identify and understand key factors contributing to violence and aggression in healthcare environments
Apply effective de-escalation techniques in potentially volatile situations
Assess risk and implement preventative strategies
Manage aggressive behavior with confidence, using safe and ethical approaches
Navigate legal and ethical frameworks, including relevant healthcare legislation
Provide appropriate post-incident support to both staff and patients
Contribute to building a safer and more responsive healthcare workplace
