Overview

This half-day, in-person course focuses on the principles of person-centred care, empowering healthcare professionals to deliver care that is respectful, responsive, and tailored to each individual’s needs, values, and preferences. The training promotes dignity, collaboration, and shared decision-making in every care interaction.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the core principles of person-centred care and its impact on health outcomes

  • Learn how to assess and respond to each patient’s individual needs, values, and choices

  • Develop effective communication techniques that support patient engagement

  • Explore strategies for building trust and developing supportive patient relationships
