Understand the different types of learning disabilities and their impact on individuals’ lives
Recognise key signs and characteristics of various learning disabilities
Explore the barriers and challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities in healthcare settings
Learn effective communication and interaction strategies to enhance engagement and trust
Understand how to provide individualised care that meets unique needs and promotes independence
Gain knowledge of legal rights and protections, including the Mental Capacity Act
